Responsibilities:

o    Resolve escalations and TSRs (Technical Support Requests) from customers under SLA (Service Level Agreement)
o    Fix defects reported by internal users
o    Security monitoring and fixes
o    Design and implement software components for Linux Operating System
o    Integrate open source or independent software vendors' software components
o    Design and implement use cases for various Linux components


Qualifications:

o    BS or MS in Computer Science or related majors
o    At least 3-4 years Linux platform working experience, including kernel, user space, and build systems
o    Fast learner. Be able to work on multiple tasks in parallel
o    Experience on C, python and  Shell programming
o    Experience on autoconf and makefile
o    Experience on git is required
o    Good knowledge of RPM package management
o    Deep understanding of processor architectures: ARM, PPC, MIPS, and X86, at least one of them.
o    Good troubleshooting ability
o    Good English communication skills in reading, writing and speaking
o    A self-motivated person with high responsibility
o    Knowledge and experience on Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSuse, etc)
o    Knowledge of Yocto is a big plus
