Basic Qualifications:
1. Develop and support software solutions for internal and external customers using current technologies such as Java, J2EE, JavaScript in Linux based environment;
2. Participate in the Customer-Facing Product Lifecycle and in the rollout of new products and services while meeting the demands of the business’ markets;
3. Troubleshoot, resolve production problems, and create solutions that are always available and redundant with high performance requirements;
4. Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting support to resolve production incidents;
5. Engineer solutions for a high availability architecture with redundancy;
6. Help define and meet software performance requirements starting at the code level based on current best practices (e.g. Steve Souders’ rules of performance);
7. Use a combination of Open Source and Commercial solutions to deliver on current requirements, resolve issues in the existing code base and support and allow for future refactoring.

Desired Qualifications:
1. BS degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent work experience;
2. 5+ years of application development experience in Java. Full stack is highly preferred;
3. Experience in Spring, Tomcat, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and RESTful API;
4. Familiar with Cloud Service (e.g. AWS), and containers (e.g. Kubernetes or Docker);
5. Experience in high performance system design and development;
6. Experience in internationalization, localization, and accessibility is preferred;
7. Experience in CI/CD is preferred;
8.Highly self-motivated and directed with experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment;
9. Fluent in English. Experience of working closely with teams in other countries is highly preferred.
