84632 Senior Software Engineer

The Red Hat Enterprise Experience and Delivery Cloud team is looking for a Software Engineer to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will aid in enabling smooth production and rapid release of Red Hat’s cloud content and significantly contribute to the business strategy of market leadership in hybrid cloud technologies. You'll work as part of a cross-functional team on an exciting project creating the best way to buy and deploy container-based software to customer choice of cloud and on-premises solutions.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Work with the latest technologies in a highly cooperative landscape
Participate in and learn about DevOps culture and continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) principles
Identify pipeline workflows that could be automated
Write crucial parts of the system
Perform root cause analyses

Required Skills

Solid knowledge of Ruby or Python
Solid knowledge of Linux, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Fedora
Experience with Red Hat Virtualization or other virtualization technologies
Experience with Git
Curious and collaborative mindset
Fluent language skills in English

The following are considered a plus

Knowledge of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform
Familiarity with Jenkins
Familiarity with software development methodologies
Knowledge of the software release process
Experience with the architecture of delivery pipelines
