GENERAL SUMMARY
Qualcomm Customer Engineering Group is looking for experienced engineers to support Qualcomm AI customers.
Work will include training/trouble shooting/debug with Qualcomm Cloud/Edge/Auto/AIoT customers to support their AI applications development, also needs to have good issue analysis skill to narrow down problem area and communication with internal teams to report issues. The job covers a wide range of software stack with industry leading machine learning frameworks, runtimes, and tools. Software capabilities from compilation and execution workflows to monitoring, profiling, visualization, and debugging capabilities. Machine learning frameworks and runtimes include Tensorflow, PyTorch/Caffe2, Mxnet, Glow Runtime, ONNX Runtime, TensorFlow, and others.
The successful applicant should have a diverse skill set including a strong background in machine learning, performance testing and analysis, understanding of accelerator architectures and a passion to drive world-class solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, EE or related field.
2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
2+ years’ experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
2+ years’ Machine Learning/AI engineering work experience, prefer AI underlayer products (AI chip, framework , graph compiler, DSP, operators development) experience in or for AI hardware companies.
Good understanding and background of Chipset SoC BSP/GPU/VPU(Snapdragon Preferred), Operating System(Linux, QNX), Linux middleware like FFMPEG, GStreamer, OpenGL/OpenCL, QT development.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience running ML toolkits such as Caffe/Caffe2, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. Solid knowledge of machine learning concepts, algorithms and architectures, including CNNs, LSTM-RNNs, experience on ML model performance evaluation, benchmark, etc.
Understanding of ML Software stack and compiler concepts including graph processing and intermediate representations; hands on experience with LLVM IR or other IR formats, a plus Experience with ONNX or other NN model formats, a plus experience profiling and optimizing software for CPUs and/or GPU/ASIC/DSP applications. Development experience with C++, Python Experience developing software solutions which run in Linux environments including containers and virtual machines.
Experience with lower layer software stack of AI accelerator, including frameworks, graph compiler/runtime (Glow, TVM, TC, TensorRT, etc), model quantization tool a big plus.
Good English communication (written and verbal) and positive interpersonal skills.
