Program Manager II / Senior Program Manager

Start Experiences Team is looking for an experienced Product Manager. Start Experiences team is responsible for delivering our users rich contents through preeminent and delightful user experience (UX) on various Microsoft canvases (Windows, Edge Brower, Bing.com, MSN.com etc.). In this role, you will have opportunities to build a product from zero to one, and continuously improve it with potential impact on billions of users around the world. You will work in a fail-fast, data driven, experimentation driven environment, and be encouraged to try any of your bold ideas.
This role requires a special penchant for Customer experience and UX design, along with a background of close collaboration with designers, user researchers, engineers, product marketing and cross team/org stakeholders. You are at the center of defining the product, thus require you to have strong user analysis skills, be customer centric, and have a deep understanding of user behaviors in consuming web contents.
Responsibilities
Define, plan, build, and deliver complete and polished product experiences.
Partner closely with your engineering team to align the priorities, and ensure the product is delivered in the required schedule and quality.
Work closely with design team to push the boundaries on user experiences.
Proactively analyzing and monitoring user data, to validate the feature ideas, quantitively measure results and identify the opportunities for constant product improvement.
Engage with customers and conduct user studies to understand user needs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in an internet product management role.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
Resourceful, creative thinking and open mind about product features and UX designs.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving skills; strong ability to proactively seek internal/external support and solve cross-team dependency.
Self-starter or entrepreneurial aptitude.
Fluent use of English, both verbal and written, as the working language.
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of experience with A/B testing and related data analysis.
1+ years of experience on feeds products.
Experience with building new types of web-based products.
