What you’ll do
As an Analytics Tester in the NLP team at SAS Beijing R&D, you will:
o Review industry research or regulatory literature to analyze, design, develop, execute, and verify independent test programs, procedures and methodologies used to validate numerical accuracy of implementations.
o Write test programs to prepare and explore potentially large, complex data to assess performance of analytical software and ensure the processes are of the highest quality.
o Create usage, validation and application-based test plans and other related test documentation as required.
o Assist in the development, integration, maintenance, and documentation of test automation tools and strategies that will add value to testing cycles.
o Evaluate fix requests, track specific issues, verify fixes, and work with technical support to respond to customer questions.
o Work collaboratively with development, product, operations, and support peers to encourage quality, as a key design element in all work efforts.
o Practice effective techniques for deploying and operating SAS software in a multi-cloud environment.
What we’re looking for
o You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
o Demonstrated aptitude in one or more programming languages, such as Python, SAS, or Java.
o Comfortable with Linux, Bash, and Shell Scripting.
o Familiarity with source control management techniques (Git) including branching, code review, and merging.
o Exposure to container and container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
o Practical experience implementing test automation tools and designing automated test suites.
o Strong interpersonal skills that meets or exceeds the needs of the team.
o Strong written and verbal English language communication skills
