Job Summary
The Red Hat Digital Experience Platforms team is looking for a Software Quality Engineer to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will execute automated and manual tests for web-based customer-facing applications hosted in a hybrid cloud environment. You will gain a deep understanding of a variety of popular technologies including Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, containers, Node.js, React, CI/CD, Jenkins,etc.
As a Quality Engineer, you'll serve as the last instance before applications are released to the public. You'll need to have the ability to think creatively and adapt to rapid changes, as well as the willingness to learn new things.

Primary Job Responsibilities
Create and review test cases
Execute manual and automated tests, track and provide results to dev team and stakeholders
Explore, identify, and document new bugs
Contribute to bug fixes, narrow down problems and do root cause analysis
Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of current technologies
Required Skills
2+ years of experience in quality engineering
Understanding of browser differences and how to overcome them
Understanding of git, HTML, JavaScript, Python
Familiarity with Linux, RHEL, Fedora, etc.
Outstanding problem solving, teamwork, and collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Respect for Red Hat’s values of accountability, freedom, courage, and commitment
The following are considered a plus
Experience with performing web interface automation using Selenium, Cypress, Mocha, and Chai
Experience with Jenkins CI
Experience with Postman
Knowledge of Kubernetes, containers, and Red Hat OpenShift
Sense of customer focus
