Senior Software Development Engineer (NLP/Search/Recommendation)
Microsoft Software Technology Center at Asia (STCA) aims to the best user experience for Web Search, Advertisement, Cloud, and Enterprise services. The Search & Distribution Group in STCA has more than 200 scientists and engineers, working on various NLP/Multi-modal techniques and applications.
We're looking for passionate and experienced engineers to help us on our mission of employing deep learning to understand all the data on the web - the largest store of information in human history. With this understanding we power end-user experiences across a variety of NLP/Multi-modal related areas, especially
- Search Relevance
- Intelligent Answer System
- Recommendation system
- Knowledge experiences
- Build up the world-class AI systems with novel NLP techniques and engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with Microsoft Research Asia and partner production teams to explore cutting-edge AI technology and deliver both research and production impact.
Responsibilities
- Drive core technologies and E2E production delivery by leveraging State-of-Art AI technologies.
- Address challenges in products through Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning approaches and transfer novel ideas to production applications.
- Development of deep learning models for Microsoft AI scenarios, including recommendation system, search relevance, knowledge experience, et al.
- Pushing the envelope on deep learning by:
- Defining problems and establishing metrics
- Gathering training data at scale
- Exploring model design and architecture
- Exploring learning objectives and tasks
Qualifications
- Minimum: Master; Preferred: advanced degree and/or industry experience
- Solid experiences in applying deep learning techniques and drive E2E AI product development.
- 4+ years of working experience in NLP/recommendation/search related areas.
- Passionate and self-motivated
- Ability to effectively collaborate and ship production features in a multi-project, fast-paced team environment
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Focus on customer impact during design and development
- Ability and motivation to self-teach while entering new domains and managing through ambiguity
候选人最好是海外留学或985/211的正规全日制本科或硕士毕业后知名公司工作满1年以上，有编程建模竞赛得奖，leetcode排名或个人技术兴趣项目等。英文要听说读写熟练。工作认真负责，积极主动，能够快速学习，解决问题，团队合作能力良好。并且请确保在过去半年内，您没有在微软中国面试失败过，而且没有其他微软员工已帮您做过内部推荐。
微软面试流程:若简历合格,会有一小时电话面试,若通过,会有三轮技术面试,如通过,会有1-2轮lead面,然后二线经理面。每轮一小时(视频,共享桌面,用你熟悉的编辑器和语言写代码,要能编译)。社招面试抽查算法和之前项目经验,解决问题和沟通能力。务必做足准备,可以在谈面试日期时留出几天准备,leetcode中等难度的题至少刷200道,注意代码风格及效率,测试用例要全。~70%的候选人在第一轮就失败了。
