5G NR/LTE SW Customer Support Engineer - AS - Beijing
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- This position focus on reproducing and troubleshooting any issue related with protocol settings/implementation for both operator market and open market.
-Help chipset OEMs to understand QCT modem software/solution, give customers training of QCT products and help resolve issues in using QCT solution in above fields.
- Play consultant/expert role, trouble shooting, identify problem reported by customers, analysis and report issues to developer team, help developer team to narrow down the root cause and fix problems
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience on 3GPP protocol;
- Understanding on wireless communication, familiar with at least one radio access technology standard (GERAN, WCDMA, HSPA, TDSCDMA, LTE, NR) ;
- Some experience in C/C++/Python programming;
- English communication and interpersonal skills;
- High motivation and strong self-learning ability;
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team from various disciplines and at various locations
- 2+ year experience in wireless communication/embedded system development.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's, major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant majors
