General Summary

Job Overview    
o    Support for Qualcomm platform product test in system level including functional/performance/power/stability related testing.
o    Work together with global teams across different time zones to support product level test for various Qualcomm projects (Mobile /Computer/ XR / IOT / Automotive).
o    Focus on QC Platform Product testing on Audio/Video/Camera /Graphic/ Linux/Core BSP/AI.
o    Test case Design and implement with automation test scripts.  Automation tools development for product test and stability test.
o    Triage and debug Test issues on Qualcomm product and provide analysis with tech team. Provide technical support by giving assistance in trouble shooting, issue identifying and analysis and by providing detail information to development team.



Preferred Qualifications

Technical Skill:

Technology Requirement: experience in 1 or more technical areas below:

oTest or develop Experience on one of the below area Multimedia/Camera/ CoreBSP/ Linux Kernel…) on Android platform. Strong background and hands-on experience in Multimedia /Camera module and bring up related areas
oBasic experience of Audio/Voice testing on Android platform. Have the basic knowledge of voice and audio codecs (AMR. AAC. Dolby AC3…), audio post-processing, muti-microphone noise cancellation and echo cancellation.
oIndustrial experience in machine learning, or multimedia areas, or Robotics
oExperience on Neural networks and AI/machine learning methods, Deep learning frameworks
oExperienced in systems/device level verification, test-development, test planning, problem solving.
oWorking experience in developing / Testing software on Embedded Real-Time Operating Systems preferably Linux, QNX with emphasis on device driver development and BSP related area testing is preferred.
oFamiliar with multiprocessor architecture, ARM processors, caching, interrupts, etc. Deep understand SOC design theory and architecture will be highly preferred.
Test Automation:

o2+ Years’ experience Use at least one of following programming languages: Python/Java /C++/C…, mobile phone automation test methodology and execution is preferred.
oGood skill and experience on Android system and Android APP development is preferred.
oExperience with database (MySQL/Oracle) and web development (JS/Jquery/AJAX/Django) is preferred
oknowledge base in machine learning or image processing is a plus.


Soft Skill:

Quick in learning and response, willing to take challenges.

Communication: Mature interpersonal skills with an ability to collaboratively work with many varied teams and resolve problems spanning many disciplines.

English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin and English are required.

Proven ability to work in a dynamic, multi-tasked environment.

Physical Requirements
o Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to  1/2  mile.
o Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
o Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
o Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
o Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.


Education:
Bachelors - Computer Science, Bachelors - Engineering, Bachelors - Information SystemsWork Experiences:

2+ years Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
