As China is the growing market for passenger cars, we are currently looking for an experienced expert who shares the same passion and enthusiam for driving our China specific development for connecting the navigation and ADAS experience. Located in Beijing (Wangjing area) our development team is fully responsible and driving the development of ADAS/Navigation interactions and HMI for Mercedes-Benz cars.
As Product Lead in the NaviStance product team, you are End-2-End responsible for our product development, especially ensuring in-time and in-quality development of our internal and external (development) partners.
You are take care about the requirement management, priorities, product quality and schedule as well as status reporting. You will be the communication channel to internal and external development partner in China, as well as our development partners at other Mercedes-Benz development sites all over the world.
Task Description
Taking end-2-end responsibility for one or more dedicted functions within the NaviStance product team. Writing requirements, user-stories and discuss and finalize these with external or internal development teams. Start and finish the demand process on-time and resolve all blocking issues to enable the functionality.
Ensuring on-time and on-quality delivery of all components in the different domains by integrating all relevant stakeholders, verify the product and prepare the functions for customer release.
Being the main contact for all internal and external stakeholder, regularily present status to the management.
Responsible to ensure future competitiveness of the Mercedes-Benz Chinese ADAS and navigation system by creating new product ideas, preparing these ideas, do POCs and present these to management and coworkers.
Collabrate closely with other function owners in and outside of the NaviStance product team to integrate developed deliverables into projects as well as provide technical feedback in discussions on future products and platforms
Qualification
o Masters’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or appropriate graduation)
o Very good knowledge in the ADAS and navigation domain, preferably 3 years work experience in the ADAS / navigation business with an OEM or internet company being responsible for ADAS / navigation components.
o Experience as a software developer, preferably in the field of ADAS development and/or navigation system development is a plus
o Very good knowledge in project management, preferred experience in leading complex software development projects with multiple stakeholders
o Relevant Linux/Android knowledge and experience
o Experience working in an Agile development environment, Agile/Scrum methodology, experience as scrum master or product owner is plus
o Experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence
o Software development quality methodologies such as design review, code reviews, continuous integration, regression testing and static code analysis
o Fundamental knowledge in terms of methodologies in project management, e.g. project plan, risk analyze, and so on
o Self-responsibility, team player and good communication skills
o Fluency in Chinese & English
