Professor Pin Wang in the Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the Viterbi School of Engineering of the University of Southern California (USC) is looking for highly motivated Ph.D. students to start in Fall 2007. The students will be conducting research in the areas of biomolecular engineering, synthetic immunology and stem cell engineering. For detailed research information, please visit (

The candidates should have a B.S. or M.S. degree in biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, bioengineering, materials science or related discipline. Some knowledge of molecular biology, cell biology and protein engineering is desirable, and research experience in these areas is an advantage. However, highly motivated and academically strong applicants interested in getting into the field are encouraged to apply as well.
