One or two postdoc positions are available in the group of Dr. Huiwang Ai at the University of California, Riverside. The lab is focusing on new chemical and chemical biology methods that can promote the understanding of complex cell biology and neurobiology questions. We are looking for one synthetic chemist, who has been trained in either organic chemistry, chemical biology or medicinal chemistry. Skills to perform multiple-step synthesis is a requirement. Experience on molecular biology and protein chemistry is a big plus. The researcher is expected to be self-motivated, and have the potential to learn new knowledge on biology.

Another potential recruit is in the direction of protein engineering. Researchers with experience on phage display, yeast surface display, fluorescence imaging and molecular biology are encouraged to apply.
