Job Description

A Post Doctoral Research Associate position is available immediately (starting
date October, 2012) to highly motivated scientists to participate in basic and
applied research in epilepsy and brain transporters selective antagonism. The
goal of the research project is to synthesise and identify novel molecular
architectures that will selectively inhibit the action of brain transporters
related to epilepsy in order to find new drug candidates to treat this
disorder. Selected candidate will join a laboratory in the new state of the art
facility. The institution provides an academic environment for the postdoctoral
research associate to engage in scientific research that applies cutting-edge
technologies in organic and medicinal chemistry. Applicants must have a Ph.D.
in organic chemistry, preferably with good synthetic abilities. Interested
