Postdoctoral Fellow in CNS and/or Bone Drug Delivery , Texas, USA
A Post-doctoral Position is available in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Texas
Tech University Health Science Center, Amarillo, TX. The specific research includes brain/bone
targeted delivery of nanoparticles and nanoconjugates and elucidation of therapeutic efficacy and
transport pathways/mechanisms of drug delivery system in vitro and in vivo. Candidates with a
Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, bioengineering, material sciences, nanomedicine, or
related area such as pharmacokinetics/drug disposition will be considered. Additionally, the
position requires prior experience with drug delivery, handling rodents, in vitro/in vivo cancer
models, and analytical methods, such as LC/MS/MS, demonstrated by strong peer-reviewed
publications. Experience in working with cell-based assays, tissue processing and handling,
immunohistochemistry, imaging technique (such as confocal, fluorescence), PK/PD, and in vivo
cancer model is highly desirable. Knowledge in drug delivery is a must. Excellent oral and
written communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential.
