你这里面我在google搜到两个。 一个是1913年，另一个是1860年的书。 都超过100年了。 另外1858年的一本书(On the Appearance of Comet V.) 里是这样写的:
The nucleus is still of a planetary character, and seems to be cut off on the under side by something like a phase of darkness.  
看了1860年的扫描件，就是上面那句话。 不知道为什么会多出are as seen in the heavens.
