MILAN - Roberto Mancini analysed his team's performance against city rivals AC Milan in a post-match interview with Sky Italia.
"Milan played better in the first half and they created two scoring chances," said the Inter coach. "We didn't do much in attack but the match was under control. We started playing after their goals in the second half.
"We knew it would be a hard game and that any result was possible. We knew a defeat was possible, and so it was, so let's not make a drama out of it. I have always thought that the decisive match would be the one against Siena."

Defending his decision to leave Balotelli out of the starting lineup, Mancini said: "He didn't play because he was on a warning, like other players. Cruz and Crespo played in attack and they're not mere nobodies.
"The difference in our level of performance in the second half of the season has been due to the numerous injuries and the run of poor form after we were knocked out of the Champions League."
