Mou and Drogba seek reunion

Jose Mourinho and Didier Drogba confirm their intention to work together again at Inter after forming a remarkable bond at Chelsea.
“Mourinho was very important for my career,” confessed the Ivory Coast striker on Sky Italia.
On the same channel, the Inter boss was interviewed and did not hesitate with his response.
“I was important for him, but having a player like Drogba makes it easy for a Coach. He was born to work, win, be loyal, a friend and a man who represents the team.
“At Chelsea I was fortunate to have Drogba plus another four or five players with the same temperament. I thank him for speaking highly of me, but I have many reasons to thank him and all those who were with me at Chelsea.”
Jose revealed a series of coincidence meetings paved the way for Drogba’s transfer to Stamford Bridge and the special rapport between them.
“After winning the FA Cup I went to the locker room on my own, as I wanted some quiet time. He came in screaming like crazy that if I didn’t go out there to celebrate then he would not pick up the trophy or his medal.
“Obviously I went with him, because he deserved that moment. On my final day at Chelsea I saw this giant who seemed like a superman, but he was crying like a baby.”
Ever since Mourinho joined Inter there has been talk of a reunion with Drogba and that is bound to hit the headlines again in the summer.
Hernan Crespo and Julio Cruz are leaving, while Adriano quit mid-season to join Flamengo, but Diego Milito has agreed a deal to switch from Genoa.
“Drogba is someone who never gives in,” continued the Coach. “Usually strikers are a little afraid of the aggression and strength of defenders, but in his case he’s the one who is intimidating to others.
“He has all the quality needed for a forward in the final third, as he is strong in the air and uses his physique well. In decisive moments he’s the man to look to. We played five finals and he scored in all of them!”
