Inter ' 46.2m for Yaya Toure'
By Football Italia staff
English papers claim Inter are prepared to pay 46.2m over four years to get Yaya Touré from Manchester City.
This morning’s edition of the Star on Sunday insists the Nerazzurri have lined up a 15m transfer fee for the player who turns 32 later this month.
Another 31.2m would consist of wages over a four-year contract for the Ivory Coast international.
However, this would still consist of a massive pay cut from his current wages at Manchester City of 230,000 per week, dropping to ‘only’ 150,000 at Inter.
Inter and Roberto Mancini have made no secret of their desire to bring Yaya Touré to San Siro.
In turn, the midfielder repeatedly hinted he’s interested in “a new challenge” and money is not the issue for him.
The Nerazzurri face an uphill struggle to qualify for the Europa League, although that could work in their favour.
If they fail to get into Europe, then any Financial Fair Play penalty would be bumped.
