Santon turns down Watford

Davide Santon has told Inter he will not accept a sale to Watford and is happy where he is.

The fullback had been linked to the Premier League club alongside defender Zdravko Kuzmanovic for a deal that may have been worth 10m, but it seems destined not to happen.

On from the player's statements on his Facebook profile, Santon is reported by FcInterNews.it to have reiterated his position to his club, saying that he does not intend to go to Watford.

The club will then likely be forced to look at different options to balance their books.
