Inter move for Mertens

It’s reported Inter are interested in Napoli’s Dries Mertens, but the asking price is 14m.

The Belgian winger’s agent has already hinted that his client could leave the Partenopei this summer, despite a contract running until 2018.

According to Radio Crc, Mertens’ entourage has confirmed that the Nerazzurri are keen to bring the player to San Siro.

A bid of 6m plus Andrea Ranocchia was reportedly rejected by the Vesuviani, who are thought to be looking for 14m for the 28-year-old.

Mertens was one of Napoli’s better performers last year contributing 10 goals and nine assists in all competitions.
