Moratti to sell Inter shares?
By Football Italia staff
Former President Massimo Moratti could sell his remaining Inter shares to an Arabian contingent.
The ex-patron is still on the Board of Directors, but according to La Repubblica newspaper feels the time is right to move on.
He still owns 30 per cent of the club, having sold the rest to Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir.
It’s reported Moratti will sell all but two or three per cent.
While an Arabian group of investors are the favourites to buy his shares, Moratti could sell to Thohir instead.
The former and current President of Inter sat down to dinner together on Friday evening.
Similarly, Moratti’s company Pirelli has ta 20-year sponsorship deal with Inter ready to expire, so it is the perfect time to move on.
