Roma, Inter in for Leandrinho
By Football Italia staff
Ponta Preta striker Leandrinho could become a free agent, and Roma and Inter are among the clubs out to sign him.
The 17-year-old was believed to have a deal for a new move with Granada, owned by Umberto Pozzo.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, however, the deal may fall through as the player is legally too young to take these decisions on his own, and needs the signed consent of a player or guardian.
Roma and Inter have therefore stepped in to attempt to sign the promising young striker at no cost.
Among their competitors there is Real Madrid, who would like to keep Leandrinho within La Liga.
