Bologna talks for three defenders
By Football Italia staff
Bologna are said to be in talks for Inter pair Davide Santon, Andrea Ranocchia and Napoli’s Juan Camilo Zuniga.
Roberto Donadoni is completely revamping his squad during the January transfer window.
According to Sky Sport Italia, they are in negotiations with Napoli for Colombia international wing-back Zuniga.
He hasn’t played this season, as after recovering from a lengthy injury he was frozen out of Coach Maurizio Sarri’s plans.
Zuniga has also received interest from the Premier League and China, but would prefer to remain in Serie A.
The main issue is that Bologna want the player on loan, but for Napoli to continue paying at least some of his wages.
The same situation is in play with Inter for defenders Ranocchia and Santon.
SportItalia claim Bologna held a meeting today with Santon’s entourage and are ready to offer a loan with mandatory option to buy at the end of the season for 4.5m.
