Fassone: ‘If Inter come fourth…’
By Football Italia staff
Former Inter general manager Marco Fassone says they “expected a little more” than fourth place.
The Nerazzurri are currently five points behind Roma who are in third, but the Lupi have a game in hand against Bologna tonight.
With the stated aim for the season being a Champions League place, could Mancini’s position come under threat?
“Fourth place would be an improvement on last year’s position,” Fassone - who left the club in September - pointed out.
“But if that’s what happens then we’d expected a little more. Then the club will make its assessments.”
