Inter close in on Vilhena

Inter are very close to Feyenoord's Tonny Vilhena, in an early transfer move that would cost them nothing.

The Nerazzurri are operating carefully on the transfer market as the sale of the club's stocks is not complete yet, and their financial resources are still not entirely certain.

After coming very close to Fenerbahce's Caner Erkin, the Italians may be about to sign another player as a free transfer.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, sporting director Piero Ausilio is very close to sealing a deal for 21-year-old Vilhena.

The player's contract with Feyenoord is due to expire next month, and contenders Fiorentina and Sevilla have been slow to show interest. Inter have been able to take advantage of that to secure the player for themselves, at no cost in terms of transfer fees.
