Inter: Ansaldi ok, Candreva no
By Football Italia staff
Inter are attempting to sign Genoa's Cristian Ansaldi, but are meeting difficulties for Lazio's Antonio Candreva.
The Argentine defender is believed to be the Nerazzurri's first choice for the right wing, and a deal should realistically be found.
According to Tuttosport, Genoa's request of 8m is currently not matched by Inter's offer of 6m.
The Rossoblu also had Diego Laxalt on loan this season and are looking to redeem him, and the player's value of 2.3m is already included in Inter's offer for Ansaldi.
The Biscione are looking to close the deal quickly though, so they'll be trying to find some common grounds on the short term.
The attempted signing of Lazio's Candreva, on the other hand, keeps suffering setbacks.
In spite of having found a deal with the player's agent, the club is again being told by president Claudio Lotito that the winger will cost 30m, according to La Repubblica.
While most sources believe Candreva's value to be at 25m, Lotito has been reported to quote that price before, and it matches Chelsea's putative offer.
