Thohir: ’De Boer? Hopefully soon!’

Inter President Erick Thohir hopes to confirm Frank de Boer as Coach “soon”.

The former Ajax boss is expected to replace Roberto Mancini on the San Siro bench, and he’ll reportedly fly into Milan tonight.

Thohir sold most of his shares in the Nerazzurri to the Suning Group this summer, but has remained as the club President.

Approached by Goal Indonesia for comment on De Boer, the patron said he wanted to confirm the Dutchman “hopefully soon”.

It was announced this morning that Mancini has left his post by mutual consent, after a summer of turmoil surrounding his future.
