Napoli hold Icardi meeting?
By Football Italia staff
Napoli are reportedly meeting with Mauro Icardi’s representatives, as they prepare to raise their offer to Inter.
The Partenopei have made the striker their number one target to replace Gonzalo Higuain, but the Nerazzurri have so far rejected all advances.
New Coach Frank de Boer has made it clear that he wants Icardi to stay, but calciomercato.it reports that a meeting is currently taking place between representatives from Napoli and the player’s entourage.
It’s thought the Neapolitan club are willing to raise their offer to 60m, also offering 50m plus Manolo Gabbiadini.
