Juventus dive in for Brozovic
By Football Italia staff
Juventus are stepping up their bid for Marcelo Brozovic over the next 48 hours, as Inter want at least 25m.
The Corriere dello Sport has been reporting for several days that the Croatia international is top of Max Allegri’s current wish-list.
The 23-year-old Croatia international impressed last season and at Euro 2016, prompting his agent to complain at low wages several times.
According to the Corriere, Juventus have been in talks with Brozovic’s entourage and representatives from the Doyen group.
Inter paid 8m to sign him from Dinamo Zagreb and want 25-30m to sell him this summer.
Juve will raise the funds by selling Simone Zaza to Wolfsburg for 25m.
Naturally, the Nerazzurri would prefer to sell overseas rather than reinforce a Serie A rival, so Liverpool and Arsenal remain contenders.
The Corriere dello Sport maintains the next 48 hours will be decisive for the Juventus bid.
