Inter and Napoli fight for Vrsaljko

Sime Vrsaljko could be heading back to Serie A in January, as Inter do battle with Napoli for the Atletico Madrid full-back.

He left Sassuolo over the summer for   16m, but has struggled for playing time in Diego Simeone’s squad.

Napoli had already been heavily linked with a bid for the Croatia international when the January transfer window opens.

Now Mundo Deportivo claim that Inter are also preparing a swoop for Vrsaljko, aiming to get him on loan with an option to buy.

The Nerazzurri’s first choice is Matteo Darmian, but Manchester United want   18m for the ex-Torino talent.
