Darmian heading for United exit

Jose Mourinho has already found a substitute for Matteo Darmian at Manchester United, leaving room for the Italian defender to join Inter, reports say.

According to the Times, the Portuguese Coach highly rates 18-year-old Timothy Fosu-Mensah who is already present in the Red Devils' academy.

The Dutchman has been mainly utilised in the right-back role, the same position as Darmian, and made his debut in United's 3-2 victory over Arsenal in February.

This will increase speculation that out-of-favour Darmian will be pushed closer to the exit door, as many outlets have already suggested that the ex-Torino man will leave for Inter in January.

Although the right-back played 90 minutes in United's 4-1 Europa League victory over Fenerbahce on Thursday evening, he is yet to see a single minute of Premier League action in the current campaign.
