Ballon d'Or: Serie A stars listed

Leonardo Bonucci and Paulo Dybala of Juventus along with Ever Banega of Inter are the latest Serie A players to be nominated for the Ballon d’Or.

The shortlist of 30 players is being announced by France Football magazine in stages throughout the day. Bonucci and Dybala join their teammate Gianluigi Buffon, who had already been announced earlier on.

Banega joins the list of competitors for his performances in Sevilla’s Europa League-winning campaign last year, before he joined Inter this summer, whilst Bonucci and Dybala were instrumental in Juventus’ Serie A and Coppa Italia double-winning triumph.
