Leonardo: ‘I wouldn’t suit Inter’

Leonardo says he’s not interested in replacing Frank de Boer at Inter as “I have a different profile” from what’s needed.

The Brazilian had a previous spell on the bench and has been touted for a return, with former President Massimo Moratti reportedly pushing his candidacy.

“It’s nice, but I think that’s in the past,” Leonardo told Sky.

“The gratitude for the relationship there was remains, and I think that’s the reason [for the talk] not because Moratti is pushing it.

“I don’t think I’d be the ideal profile, I’m a Coach with a directorship profile and a director with technical ideas.

“I think Inter need to choose the ideal Coach, I have a different profile and I don’t see myself fitting very well there.”
