Eder: ‘More than three points’
By Football Italia staff
Inter’s Eder views Sunday’s Derby with Milan as worth more than three points and also believes his team can still qualify for the Champions League.
The Nerazzurri are currently eight points off Serie A’s top three teams, with new Coach Stefano Pioli set to take charge of the side for the first time at San Siro.
“It doesn’t matter who scores, whether it’s me or a teammate,” Eder told Inter Channel.
“The important thing is to win, we know it is an important game for us at this stage of the season.
“Whoever scores we hope to get the three points, because it’s very important for us.
“I have always said that this team has great quality, maybe something wasn’t working before.
“When things don’t go normally in football, in Italy and in other places, there is a change in the Coach.
“Pioli is an expert, he is a good Coach, he knows our League well. We are preparing for the match well, it is an important game in reaching our target, the Champions League. We need to start getting results.
“This match is worth more than three points, if we win there will be even more enthusiasm. It’s so important.”
