Inter agree Berardi deal
By Football Italia staff
Inter have reportedly reached an agreement with Sassuolo for Domenico Berardi ahead of a summer move to San Siro.
With talk of owners Suning ready to invest 150m in the forthcoming transfer window, Corriere dello Sport reports that the Nerazzurri have agreed terms with their counterparts after lengthy talks.
The 22-year-old has struggled to recapture his form this term after a lengthy injury layoff, having scored just once since August.
With the inclusion of 23-year-old Gianluca Caprari who is currently on loan at Pescara, Inter may have successfully reduced the 40m reported fee for a player who has scored 57 goals and provided 37 assists in 152 career appearances for Sassuolo.
Next on the wishlist for Inter is said to be 20-year-old Lorenzo Pellegrini, however Roma are said to have a buyback option for their former youth product, who signed for the Reggio Emilia outfit in a 1.25m deal back in 2015.
