The Medical Research group of Siemens Corporate Technology China is looking for a talented postdoctoral candidate to join our Center for Medical Imaging Validation (CMIV) team. CMIV is located in Beijing and is a joint research team of Siemens Corporate Research, US and Siemens Corporate Technology China. CMIV is developing an innovative Advanced Validation Workspace that integrates, analyzes and reports on complex data from medical imaging applications, and turning it into insight that is used to deliver the highest quality of applications possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing novel medical image processing and analysis techniques, with an emphasis on validation methods and tools for medical imaging applications.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or related field,
with strong R&D background in medical imaging, computer vision or machine learning.

Strong programming skill in C/C++ or Java is required.
Expertise in one or several of Qt, ITK, VTK, OpenGL or Open Inventor is preferable.
Experience in developing medical imaging applications is highly desirable (segmentation, registration, visualization, etc.).
Knowledge in DICOM or medical imaging techniques (CT, MRI, etc.) is a plus.
