2. Desktop QA Intern

VMware is seeking talented Computer Science or Computer Engineering interns to join our Desktop QA team. You will be responsible for testing our desktop products (Workstation, Fusion, View, Server). This includes test design, test development, test execution and test automation. You will work closely with other QA engineers and developers in order to ship high-quality products.
Your duties will include:
-Performs manual and automation testing on VMware desktop products
-Write and update test documents, test cases
-Enters defects found into defect tracking system
-Enhancement and creation of QA Automation test scripts and configurations based on project needs, execute automated test and analyze test results
-Develop tools for the QA team
Requirements
-Majoring in Computer Science or related is required
-Able to work fulltime for 6 months or longer
-Linux/Unix and Windows environments and OS knowledge.
-Working knowledge and hand on coding experience in one or more of the following programming: C/C++, Java
-Understanding of PC peripherals (storage, USB, etc)
-Excellent written and verbal English communications and organization skills
-Experience with industrial tool writing is a big plus
-Knowledge of software QA methodology is a big plus

-Assit the manager with the China R&D site work
Requirements:
-Strong web development experience using Java/Javascript/JSP/HTML/CSS
-Experience with Linux System administration experience
-Good communication skill and people skill, fluent with written and oral English
-Familiar with email related messaging software, such as ZCS, Postfix and Exchange
-Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
-Computer related major, Master preferred.
-Experience with Photoshop is a plus
