Position 1:
Microsoft Office Division China (Beijing) is looking for a strong,
self-motivated intern to work on developing in-house engineering
tools to improve the efficiency of our engineers.
The project will leverage latest Microsoft technologies such as
Silverlight, SharePoint workflow, WPF and cloud computing etc. The
intern will also have close collaboration with senior engineers in
the team with the opportunity to learn from them.
Qualifications:
1. Passionate about technology, software quality, highly motivated,
self-disciplined, and detail oriented
2. Strong drive for results
3. Strong problem solving skills
4. Proficiency in C/C++ or C#
5. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
6. Good communication skills in English

The TTS team is looking for a motivated, self-driven Software
Development Engineer Intern to drive the development of our speech
synthesis engines. Responsibilities include
1. Advance the state of the art of TTS technology
2. Working with people from different countries in the world
to understand how they speak
3. Creating and executing on plans for creating new TTS
algorithms
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 2 years programming experiences
2. Passion for technology and quality
3. Willingness to take on big challenges and able to deal
with ambiguity
4. Strong analytical and communication skills
5. Strong English communication skills in both verbal and
writing
6. Experience in one of the areas: speech synthesis, speech
recognition, prosody modeling, natural language processing is plus
