Description:
The Interventional Engineering Electrical engineer will work with a cross-functional program team to deliver value products for the global market. This position learns the practical application of engineering principals, achieves expertise in Electrical Engineering, and investigates new techniques as part of a team. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing electrical product/subsystem release solutions.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Capture and review electrical design requirements and features.
• Responsible for product subsystem level electrical architect design, implementation and verification.
• Engaging in all phases of new product introduction, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.
• Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage Strategic Sourcing objectives and Common Technology initiatives in Product line
• Keep track on new technology, methodology and design concept, ensure that design activities hold a competitive level.
• Perform electrical parts failure mode analysis, components life-cycle, signals integrality, logic timing and analog tolerance analysis and simulation.
• Use advanced digital design methodology and analysis skills to solve technical problems in order to achieve design excellence.
• Responsible for board/subsystem level acceptance test and involved into EMC, HALT and verification test.

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables
5. Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
1. BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
2. At least 3/8 years engineering experience in a related field
3. Demonstrated strong design capabilities in: motion control, electronics, and servo control.
4. Working experience with PWA/PWB and subsystem design techniques for signal integrity and EMC Circuit design and simulation tool experience for Digital HW design.
5. Working knowledge of GEHC tools and processes EQPM, ePDM, Cadence
Preferred Qualifications:
1. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
2. Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
3. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
4. Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
5. Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
6. Effective oral and written communication skills
7. Global project experience
8. Experiences in DSA or other X-ray products or large scale electro-mechanical system design
9. Knowledge of UL/ETL/IEC standards and how they apply to designs
10. English skill in writing and speaking
