In China, Deloitte has one of the largest automotive focused management consulting team, providing strategy and operation improvement related service to our global renowned clients such as Toyota, Nissan, BMW, Volkswagen, Ford, FAW, SAIC, Chery, Geely, Great Wall, etc.  

We are currently looking for long-term interns for our automotive team in Beijing office.

What we can offer to the qualified candidate is
•    Be placed in project 4-8 weeks for training
•    Be assigned with research and deliverable creation for another 4-8 weeks for Business development or project related tasks
•    Full time offer can be offered if the evaluation of the internship is satisfactory


Candidate Profile

1.    Engineering background (including Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electric & Electronics, Automation, Software Engineering, Physics, etc.)
2.    Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin; A second foreign language is a plus (such as German, Japanese)
3.    Graduate in 1 – 1.5 year (either Bachelor or Master degree, but in last year.)
4.    Willing to work as long term intern for next 3-6 months, at least 3 days a week. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the consulting profession – Strong motivation to join management consulting
5.    Strong logical, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
6.    Strong academic performance and extracurricular activities
7.    Always take the initiative, self-motivated and willing to work under pressure; a fast learner and strong team player; Creative, flexible and self-confident

Job description

1.    Conduct research, including cold calls, desk research, customer interviews, etc.
2.    Conduct data analysis on collected information to generate insights
3.    Create deliverables for proposal or case work, including chart creation in power point, excel
4.    Conduct another tasks that supervising consultant or manager would assign
5.    Due to the nature of consulting work, overtime during evening or weekend sometimes is required.
