Prerequisites:
1. Be able to work over 4 days a week for at least 3 months.
2. Enrolled as student during the whole internship period.
3. Choose one of the topic for product analysis below before the interview:
a. Online advertising landscape in China;
b. How to measure search advertising performance;
c. Analyze Yahoo business perspective from 2011Q2 financial statements.
Responsibilities:
1. Help to collect and analyze online advertising market data.
2. Work closely with the product manager teams/engineering teams to track bucket tests and metrics.
3. Help to pull data from internal systems and write moderate scripts to formulate them into reports.
4. Collaborate with multi-functional/multi-regional teams to elicit, understand, rationalize and prioritize requests.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Education: master candidate in statistics, computer science or economics.
2. Experience: Rich experience of using Internet products. Good at analytical and logical thinking.
3. Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Can extract information from data-intensive industry reports and financial statements.
