The Macintosh Business Unit (MacBU) provides unique opportunities to deliver the Microsoft connected productivity experience on the innovative Mac and other Apple platforms. The MacBU team in Beijing, China has been growing rapidly and establishing itself as a full peer development site to MacBU’s existing sites in Redmond and California, sharing in full end-to-end ownership of product design and development. For this Software Design Engineer intern position, we are looking for candidate with the following qualifications:
1: Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies and participate in state-of-the-art development processes designed to drive quality upstream  
2: Love for designing and writing great code  
3: Great technical passion, terrific problem-solving skills, drive for results, and ability to work independently
4: Good communication and cross-team skills
5: Fluent in one of the major programming languages: C, C++, or Objective C  
  
  Mac or iPhone development experience is a bonus but not a requirement.
