We currently have internship opportunities available in Orange Labs Beijing. The internships are salaried positions typically more than 6 months long, and give the opportunity to contribute to the research projects in wireless communication and networking group. Specific projects will focus on Machine-to-machine (M2M) in the following areas: • M2M ecosystem • Analysis and test of M2M solutions • PoC implementation. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from other Research teams, other Orange divisions and external vendors.
Main activities:
- Assist in preparing research materials.
- Draft technical reports for delivery.
- Prototype/testbed may be needed for proof of the concept.
- Conduct research and development in the area of M2M.
- Some flexibility in assignments may be required.
Position requirements:
- Applicants are expected to be 1st or 2nd year postgraduate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Background with wireless communications and networking.
- Good written English is a must.
- Programming skills is not compulsory, but will be a plus if knows C/C++, OMNET++ and Matlab.
