If so, Deloitte is seeking Analysts for its Enterprise Risk Services – Data Analytics (ERS–DA) practice.

Today's business environment generates vast amounts of data and information, and almost all of this information is captured and stored in computerized form. ERS–DA helps business, finance and risk managers understand this electronic data and put it into context. Our clients include the largest companies in banking, insurance, manufacturing, telecommunications, technology, energy and resources and other industries.

As an Analyst for the Enterprise Risk Services – Data Analytics practice, you will

•  Provide professional consulting services, integrating advisory analytics in a number of Deloitte service offerings;
•  Deliver predictive analytic solutions, including the participation on active client engagements delivering complex business and technical solutions;
•  Understand clients' business requirements and develop and deliver solutions based upon client needs;
•  Participate on engagement teams consisting of various technical disciplines;
•  Develop best practices, to ensure repeatability, quality, and consistency across engagements in China.

Qualifications:

•    Could start full time work from Dec.
•    Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science, Econometrics, Statistics or Accounting Science.  Business degrees should include Information Technology course work.
•    Programming and data processing course work/experience should have an emphasis on ad–hoc analytical interpretation of data files in various formats.
•    Knowledge of statistical analytical techniques, with some experience in data collection, data quality, and research techniques.
•    Programming skills preferred in SQL, Statistical Analysis System (SAS) , Microsoft Access, Visual Basic.  
•    Knowledge of Business Intelligence (IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and data mining and modeling (regression analysis, clustering, decision trees, monte–carlo simulation etc. utilizing SAS, Stata, and SPSS).
•    Be able to interpret data from a business/industry perspective.   Able to deal with significant ambiguity and develop creative approaches to analytical problems and obstacles.   Can effectively bridge the "knowledge gap" between data processing personnel and organization management
•    Proficient in Mandarin and English.
