VMware is seeking talented Computer Science or Computer Engineering interns to join our ESX QE team. As one of our R&D Engineers you will be responsible for testing the delivery of our enterprise product set (ESX,ESXi). This includes test design, test development, test execution and test automation. You will work closely with other developers and help ship products of very high quality. Your duties will include:
* Performs testing on VMware Flagship Virtual Infrastructure products
* Write and update test documents, test cases
* Enhancement and creation of QA Automation test scripts and configurations based on project needs, execute automated test and analyze test results
* Develop tools for the QA team
Requirements
* Majoring in Computer Science or related is required
* Linux/Unix and OS knowledge, project experience on Linux-like platform is plus
* Excellent written and verbal English communications and organization skills
* Knowledge of software QA methodology is a big plus
* Knowledge of software life cycle is a plus
* Networking configuration/setup hands-on experience is a plus
