Schlumberger BGC is looking for interns of software development and software testing. The interns will have chance to be mentored by senior staff, and work on commercial software products in Oil and Gas Industry. Excellent interns  will be identified early and have chance to be offered as full-time employee.
Eligibility:
-1st or 2nd year graduate students(在读研究生), majoring in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred. Excellent 3rd year and above undergraduates are also welcomed.
-At least 3 days/week required, with School or Supervisor’s permission, fulltime preferred;
The duration of the internship is minimum 6 months; long-term internship is preferred.
General Skills required:
1.Good analytical skills;
2.Fast learner;
3.Good oral and written English;
4.Positive attitude and team spirit, willing to take the ownership

Schlumberger Beijing Geoscience Center, Tsinghua Science Park, Beijing.


Positions:
1.Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities:
1.Software Feature development and maintain automation test scripts, for the next generation data acquisition system;
2.Trigger and monitor automation tests and report test result.
Qualifications:
3.Experience of software development;
4.Good understanding of OOD concept
5.Experience in one or more of following techniques: C#, C++, COM, ASP.NET, Database (SQL Server)
6.Experience in unit test or TDD
7.Experience in any of Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010
8.Some design and architecture skills

2.Software Testing Engineer

Responsibilities:
1.Apply testing process with project development;
2.Self-learn or get trained by domain knowledge related with Oil Industry;
3.Responsible for the analysis and design for functional test cases;
4.Responsible for GUI based automation test using Test Complete;
5.Communicate effectively with testing and development team;
6.Execute test according to project test plan;
7.Programming skill as plus;
Qualifications:
1.Familiar with Software Testing Process;
2.Familiar with Software Development Process;
3.Familiar with testing methodologies;
4.Good communication skill in English;
5.Good presentation skill as plus.
