Sagamore Investments was originated in 2001 to make private investments in various sectors in China broadly as well as in global biotechnology and healthcare services mainly through fund-of-fund investments. The core portfolio of Sagamore is invested through venture capital funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, hedge funds and directly managed private and public equities. The firm also provides financial advice to portfolio companies and third parties seeking investments in areas of shared interest.
China: Currently investment vehicles target investments in top-tier venture capital and private equity funds in China, as well as direct private equity investments.
Biotechnology: Currently investment vehicles target fund and direct investments globally with a concentration in the U.S. In addition to investing in top tier venture funds, the company has provided seed investment and strategic direction for important new technology companies.
Advisory Services: The firm also provides investment and business development advice to various portfolio companies and investors with whom we have shared interests, particularly in China.
Team: The firm has staff in Beijing, San Francisco, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Development for Interns: Interns have opportunity to join the company and become one of the core investment team members over time.
Wages: 140 yuan/day
Analyst 1
Responsibilities
 Develop analysis, reports, projections and presentations in good format
 Carry out researches on macro-economy, different industries or project-based assignments to support projects and decision-making
 Accompany managements to attend meetings and site visits as required, and write meeting minutes and investigation reports
Requirements
 Good communication and interpersonal skills
 Good logical thinking pattern and self-oriented learning habit
 Good numerical and analytical skills
 Be able to carry out researches on different industries or project-based assignments, qualitatively and quantitatively, and deliver in written forms or oral reports
 Good command in both written and oral Chinese/ English skills
 Proficiency in Office applications, outstanding presentation writing skill is a plus
 Professional certificates is a plus
 Job is based in Beijing, travel may be required
Analyst 2
Responsibilities
 Develop analysis, reports, projections, and presentations
 Analyze and create annual, quarterly, or monthly reports; make sure recording of the financial information is done properly with no mistakes
 Present findings to managements regarding developments and trends that are identified within competitive environments
 Reconcile internal accounts and perform financial forecasts
 Web design skill desired
Requirements
 Excellent written and oral skills which enable him/her to explain complex financial analysis regarding trends and charts to others
 Experience in performing complex financial modeling and analysis
 Proficiency in database management/spreadsheet and other Officeapplications
 Strong attention to detail
 A self-starter, who can work alone or under guidelines; ability to adapt easily to change
