Stock Photographer in Training
Shannon Fagan Photography is an American creative company. The founder, Mr. Shannon Fagan, is one of the top photographers in the US, China’s top selling lifestyle stock photographer, and a strategic business developer for the commercial photographic media industry in China. We’re looking for an energetic Photographer to produce stock imagery for our fast expanding business.
Job Description:
Create effective proposals for photo shoots.
Attend photo shoots with Shannon Fagan to learn to be a stock lifestyle photographer.
Learn lighting, composition, production skills, and advertising concepts.
Find models, shooting locations, props, and wardrobe needed for the project.
Work together with our full-time producer and full-time retoucher.
Learn about the types of imagery that sells in China and in the US and Europe.
Draft expense sheets and control budgeting.
Facilitate communications to ensure assigned tasks are completed on schedule and meet expected quality standards.
Execute and adapt the production plan in response to changing situations and requirements.
Motivate the members of the team to produce their best job.
Qualifications:
College Degree or above.
3 years working experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work with fellow staff members to maximize equipment and personnel capabilities.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week.
Intelligent, flexible, positive attitude, initiative taker, and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication skills in verbal and written communications.
Ability to comfortably communicate in English (written/oral).
Enthusiastic about the photography industry.
