ABB is a global leader in power and automation technologies that enable utility and industry customers to improve their performance while lowering environmental impact. ABB operates in more than 100 countries and employs about 130,000 people, whereof 16,000 in China.
ABB Corporate Research, in close collaboration with varied ABB business areas, is developing the foundations for the next generation of ABB products. In China, ABB Corporate Research, located in Beijing and Shanghai, employs 50 scientists with expertise in power and automation technologies for power utilities, manufacturing as well as process industries.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and initiate research projects in power system area, focusing on but not limited to the following topics: transformer monitoring, diagnostic and power electronics, etc.
- Follow up new technologies, have a clear view of technology development trend
- Provide technical support for ABB business units
Requirements:
- PhD candidate or master candidate, majored in power system analysis & control, power electronics and electrical drive, data analysis, or other related areas.
- Open minded and willing to learn; excellent innovation capability
- Self-motivated, willing to face different tasks and new challenges
- Adapt to multi-language working environment, fluent in spoken and written English
- Good communication and presentation skills

工作职责：
-在电力系统等方向开展研究工作，主要从事电动汽车、变压器状态监测、故障诊断和电力电子等相关领域的工作
-跟踪新技术，把握领域未来发展趋势
-为ABB业务提供技术支持
要求：
-下列领域的在读博士研究生或硕士研究生：电力系统分析与控制、电力电子及电力传动、数据分析，或相近专业领域知识。
-思维活跃开放，具有优秀的创新能力
-积极主动，喜欢不同任务和挑战，乐于学习新事物
-适应多语言工作环境，并能够以流利的（口头及书面）英语表达
-具备良好的沟通能力和讲解技能
